Did you know that twitter has 237.8 million Daily active users interacting with the app ? that statistic alone shows that there's a big opportunity that you can take advantage of, to either market your account or even market your business, but of course there's strategies that you can follow to maximise the exposure to your account or business.

The age group of people using twitter is also important in the sense that, you can better understand and better cater to your largest audience.. as you can see from the statisic shown below 👇🏼

Creating your identity on your twitter profile is the most important thing when you are growing your twitter acccount, because that's the very first place people will go to, and that's where they get their first impression of you.

Fright not, because i'm here to guide you on what to do.

- Tell them what you are doing on your bio, but keep it short and simple.

## **what are connections ?


Connections are people who you interact with, shared the same intrest , and exchanging valuable knowledge with. Connections are way more valuable than money in the sense that you and your connections will benefit each other in the long run.

There are a few simple steps you can follow to gain meaningful connections.

## The steps are:


- Comment on people's post about their interest
 
-  Show genuine support on what people are doing 
 
- Joining small or Big twitterspaces and be a speaker

- find someone with similar intrest as you, and dm them about it

- asking advice from people with different expertise.
 

Doing all of these things stated above is easy, but building a genuine connection with your audience is the hardest part, because it comes from within you.

Creating your identity on discord is as important as creating your identity on twitter. There are few basic steps that you can follow to create your identity and also enhance your twitter exposure to people.

 ## The few basic steps are :


- Have the same PFP as what you use on twitter .

- Have the same name as what you use on twitter .
 
- Tell what you are doing and what's your expertise on your " about me" , but keep it short & simple.

- Put the link to your twitter, so that people can easily visit your twitter and give you a follow or know better what you are doing .


The reason as to why i said on step 1 & 2 is because, people will recognise you easily and better !

Creating connections on discord is as simple as talking, and all you have to do is to connect well with the community members in the discord group that you are in. To connect well with the community members, you have to talk something related to the project, doing memes for the project or even join community event held in discord.

- Art Night ( veggies mate )

- community night talk

## HOW TO GAIN ENAGEMENT 101


To gain more engagements on your tweet, is to connect with the community , and to farm for engagement , is to tweet trending stuffs or things that people are interested in at that point of time.
it can be anything from lifestyle, crypto, nfts etc.

The idea of gaining more engagement on your tweet is not to follow those tweet that are trending, 
because by the time you found out about it, it is a little bit too late .Being the first to start a trend has its first mover advantage, but tbh it’s hard to start an interesting trend

## WAYS to gain


There are many wasy to gain engagement , but i will tell you the basic ways that can be easily followed.

The examples are:

- Connect with your community 
- tweet trending stuffs
- tweet something knowledgable 
- tweet things that people are intrested at that point of time
- doing giveaways 


Before doing any of the above examples, you need to understand what your audience want to see, you need to know who is your target audience, and your audience demographic. knowing your audience  demographic is essential, because you need to know at what time will your tweet be the most effective.

There are many ways to gain engagement and one of it is to do a giveaway that has monetary value tied to it or somthing that doesn't have any monetary value tied to it.

## The 4 things you can ask your followers to do

Gaining engagement and views is not as easy as it seems, it's a combination of different startegies coming together to maximise the exposure of your tweet. There are 4 things you can ask your followers to do, to assist you in gaining exposure.

The 4 things are :

- quote retweet
- like
- retweet
- comment

As you can see from the small experiment i did above, it shows that quote retweet has more impreessions compared to the others . The result i provided is not that accurate, but dont you worry because i will be updating as more people participate in this small experiment together.

## The best combination

Personally for me, the best combination would be Quote retweet, like, and comment. There are no right, wrong or perfect combinations, people are free to experiment with different combinations that works the best for them. If you ever find out the best combination, remember to share it with me !

## The importance

you will need to use visual that is appealig to the eyes such as,  infographic with minimal text for your tweets . try to use somthing that is full of vibrant colours because on average , a human attention span is 8.25 secs which is lower than a goldfish’s 9 secs.

There are three things you can add into your tweet that will attract people's attention to your tweet, which might assist you in gaining views and engagements.

 **The 3 things are:**

- videos
- photos
- Gif

the Importance of using visuals 

## Why Videos ?

There are many reasons as to why you should use videos on your tweet or anywhere on your social media, but one of the reason is that videos boost social media engagements, but to get likes, shares, or comments, you must create or use videos that resonates with your target audience, but make it short because from one of my experiment i did, the average attention span is about 15 -30 secs, only a few watch the entire 1-2 mins video.

if you were to pay attention to my lessons, i've always say that you must know who is your target audience and what do they want to see. 

## Why photos ?

Image will also increase engagemnts and views, they don't want to just look at it, they want to share and then they want to see more of it. It is also important to use images that are intresting and full of vibrant colours, and if you want to promote your own brand, remember to add in something that people will recognise, somthing that represents your brand.

## Why Gif ?

Gif are use to add visual intrest and express emotions or ideas in a fun way. Gif is also a popular file format for those who are creating a short and basic animations. as what i say many times, create something that targets your audience intrest which they can share it amd indirectly promoting your brand!


i've provided a small sample above, as you can see as to why i always emphasise the importance of having visuals that is appealing to the eyes and pique people's intrest.
