## **What are Fee Rebates?**
We’re introducing a system for reducing marketplace fees by simply holding $JPG in your wallet. We have developed an easy and elegant solution to reduce trading fees, which we call “Fee Rebates”!

Fee Rebates are given out on purchases and accept offer transactions (for Offer and collection offers, the user selling their asset receives the Rebate). They can be viewed as a discount on the marketplace fee. 

Fee rebates do not change the amount you pay at the time of the transaction, but you are given the amount of ADA back as a claimable Fee Rebate.

## **How do Fee Rebates work?**
Simply hold enough $JPG in your wallet to qualify for a discount tier. 

The reduction in fees will be given to you in the form of an $ADA fee rebate. These reductions will be easily trackable from the Rebates Dashboard of the Store, allowing you to claim them anytime.

## **What is the Marketplace Fee and how much can it be reduced?**
The standard marketplace fee is 2% on all sales. If you hold enough $ JPG in your wallet, it can be reduced to 0%.

## **How does my $JPG get used for rebates?**
All you have to do is have your $JPG in the same wallet as the one you’re making the transactions with, and the rebate will apply! The tiers can be viewed here.

It is important to note that:

- On buying actions, such as regular purchases or sweeping, the discount goes to the buyer.
- When accepting regular or collection offers, the discount goes to the asset owner.

## **What are tiers and what is the difference between them?**
Tiers are the different levels of your fee reduction.

There are 10 different tiers. Starting with the first tier, your fees are reduced 10%, then 10% additional for each following tier.

## **Do my rebates expire?**
No, they do not. You can let them build up without worry and only claim them when you want to redeem them.

## **What happens to rebates in between seasons?**
It's important to note the following points when a season comes to an end/before the next season begins:

- You can claim pending/existing rebates
- You do not earn new rebates

## **Is there a fee in claiming my rebate?**
There will be a fee of 1.5 ADA when claiming any rebate.
