**What Is The Eternl Wallet?
**The Eternl Cardano Wallet is a Cardano light wallet built for the community by the community. Built by members of the developers behind the [TITAN] TITANstaking and [AHL]AHLNET community stake pools, this community built light wallet aims to replace or compete with similar light wallets like AdaLite and Yoroi.

**What Are The Differences Between Other Cardano (ADA) Wallets?
**The main difference between other Cardano (ADA) Wallets is the integral part of community governance in terms of adding and providing features the community wants. They provide a GitHub feature requests ability where community members can propose new features to add to Eternl to make it as great as it can be. The other aspect that differentiates itself from other wallets is the fact that it has a support system in case you encounter issues on their Discord Server. So if an individual ever encounters an error or the unknown, there are people who can provide assistance with plenty of background experience to help.

Introduction: What Is Eternl?

The first step to begin the process of setting up your first Cardano Wallet on Eternl is heading over to the Official Eternl Website. You will then be directed to a screen that should look exactly like the picture shown below:

The Eternl Wallet (similar to the Nami and Yoroi wallets) is not an actual desktop application, but rather a browser-based application. It is available on Google Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge as well as Opera . Make sure you have downloaded at least one of these browsers before going further into this process although most likely you already use one of the following listed above. 

Step One: Visting The Eternl Website

Once you have reached the website, click the “Add Wallet” prompt. (For this tutorial, I will show what it is like when going through the steps through the Google Chrome browser application.)

Then when you have clicked the “Add Wallet” prompt, you should have directed to a new page that looks like the image below:

Click the “Create Wallet” prompt to continue on to the next step.

Step Two: Create New Wallet

When you click the “Create Wallet” prompt, it should direct you to a new page that looks identical to the one below:

Once you have been directed to the page above you will be required to enter both your “Wallet Name” (this is really more for personal preference, name it what you would like). The next prompt that asks you to enter a password is a prompt to enter your Spending Password, which is how you can send and receive assets to and from the wallet. Make sure this password is stored somewhere safe as well to ensure you can withdraw or buy assets at your discretion rather than being at the mercy of a lost password. Once you are comfortable with the “Wallet Name” and your Spending Password is stored safely for access if need be, click the “Save” prompt to proceed onto to the next step.

Step Three: Wallet Name & Spending Password

You will then be directed to the page below:

This prompt is asking you about the number of “accounts” you want to create within your Eternl Wallet. These wallets can have up to 24 accounts and users even have the ability to delegate their accounts to separate staking pools. This will increase the time it regards to syncing time of your wallet and Eternl recommends only “creating as many accounts per as you use. You can always add more accounts after creation.” Once you have selected the acceptable number of accounts, click then “Save” prompt to move on to the next step.

Step Four: Wallet Account Configuration

Once you select the “Save” prompt, your page should like identical to the image below:

If your page looks identical to the image above, you can see it will then inform you to ensure that no one is watching you or the screen while the seed phrase is visible as you go throughout the process of setting up your wallet. Make sure you are positive you can store the Recovery Seed Phrase somewhere safe and secure in the event of an extreme emergency and ensure no one has visibility to you or your screen as you undergo this process. Once you are ready to move on, check the box prompt confirming that nobody can see your screen, and then click the “Continue” prompt.

You will the be given your Recovery Seed Phrase (essentially the only way to recover your wallet and/or funds in the event you need to restore it because your computer is broken, lost, etc). Make sure to write down the Recovery Seed Phrase and store a paper copy to ensure that if anything happens to your computer, you have some physical copy to ensure you can always obtain your funds in the event of an emergency. The phrase should consist of 24 randomly generated words as pictured below:

Once you have written down and/or stored the seed phrase in a secure place, click the checkmark box confirming you have written it down and then right-click the “Continue” prompt to move on.

Step Five: Recovery Phrase

It will then ask you to verify the seed phrase, and you must enter all 24 words correctly. If you do not have a legible copy of the Recovery Phrase, hit the “Back” prompt and rewrite until you are ready to verify your Recovery Phrase. Once you have entered the Recovery Phrase, click the “Continue” prompt and viola. You have created your first Cardano Wallet on Eternl!

Step Six: Recovery Phrase Backup

You have successfully completed the creation of your Eternl Crypto Wallet, congratulations! Now is the time to begin exploring Cardano and every amazing thing it has to offer, good luck on your new adventure!
