## What is ergo ?

Ergo is a blockchain that uses Proof-of-work ( POW ) for mining new coins ,and validating transaction, Ergo is also programmable like Eth Blockchain where developers can create Dapp (decentralize applications) without any gas fees,  It has a max supply of 97,739,924 which will be fully minted in the year of 2045 ~ and also halving like BTC , but instead of halving,  it reduces the mining reward by 3ERG every quater.

The other wallet besides nautilus are:

- Ergo wallet app ( best for mobile)
- Satergo ( best for desktop but no dapp connector)

## Getting ergo through rosen

Rosen bridge is an App where you can trade your ADA to ERGO the long and costly, but decentralise way.

The steps are:

- go to rosen.tech
- Launch APP
- under **" source "** you put Cardano, and you will be asked to connect your wallet
- under **" traget "** you put ERGO
- under **" token "** you put ADA
- under **" amount "** you put the amount that you want to bridge
- under **" address "** you put your Nautilus wallet address

Before clicking " submit " please check the infromations on the right,  because it will show you the transaction Fee , bridge Fee , and the amount Of rsADA you will receive. Once you are okay with everything , click submit and sign the contract.

It will take roughly 2 hours to receive your bridge ADA into your nautilus wallet, so while you are waiting for your rsADA,  go and have some meal, exercise, shower or touch grass hahah

The steps are:

- go to spectrum.fi
- launch App
- connect your nautilus wallet
- select rsADA on the top box
- select Ergo on the bottom box
- Type the amount of rsADA you want to swap to ERGO
- Click submit and sign the contract.

Remember to have at least <1 ergo in your wallet to pay for the fees !
